Apetrel are pleased to update on the SPARK project.
SPARK is a research project into the provision of context appropriate data on EV charging. Phase one focused on defining and modelling the concept of TravelabilityTM based on a function of the density of high speed chargepoints near the UK’s Strategic Road Network and time profiles of traffic volume.
The travelability was run based on the mathematical models for the distribution of ‘travelability’ on the strategic road network in England.
Ongoing work has focussed on developing bespoke reports for project stakeholders under the product brand CarouselEV. It is hoped to make these analysis tools available to a wider audience in subsequent phases of the project.
